Michael Gerst

Michael Gerst is a legal ace who’s seen it all, pre-litigation advising, courtroom, and even the occasional appeal. He started his career at the powerhouse firm Reed Smith and has since mastered the art of turning legal challenges into opportunities, whether at international giants or boutique firms. If there’s a tricky issue to solve, Michael’s the guy you want in your corner.

Armed with a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from USC (where he moonlighted as Executive Senior Editor of the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal), Michael is the perfect mix of brains and grit. He loves nothing more than teaming up with decision-makers to untangle the toughest problems.

When he’s not battling legal foes, Michael is living the good life skiing, hiking, and hanging out with his family. He’s also a die-hard fan of USC and Rams football (fight on!) and can be found cheering on the Dodgers with equal enthusiasm. Oh, and he’s never met a good book he didn’t want to read.
